The Easy to apply Aquarium Algae Kit contains:
- Algae treatment - Contains photosynthetic bacteria that lives off carbon dioxide. It increases nitrification and rids the algae from it's food (ammonia, nitrite and nitrate). The higher the levels of dissolved oxygen , together with the microbial balance , restore the water quality.
- Sludgebuster - is a combination of plant fibres with predatory and photosynthetic bacteria. They live off waste, sludge and carbon dioxide. It releases higher levels of dissolved oxygen into the under layer that increases nitrification and reduces toxic gas in the under layer (eliminating the source / food for algae).
