These filter media sponges are perfect for aiding the control of levels within your fish tank system.
The following type of sponge for specific tasks are available;
1) Activated Carbon Sponge (HL02-1)
High quality foam / sponge sheet with impregnated activated carbon. These provide excellent chemical filtration for aquarium's or pond's absorbing inpurities out of the water whilst improving water clarity.
Activated Carbon helps to eliminate unwanted organic and synthetic substances from aquarium water. Removes chlorine to soften and improve water quality, and helps cultivate healthy bacteria in your pond or aquarium. Please be aware that Active Carbon may also absorb liquid medical treatments used to treat sick fish, so we recommend removing this from your filtration system prior to treatment.
2) Phosphate PO4 Reduction Sponge (HL02-2)
This chemical filtration media is perfect for your tank if you are aim is to reduce the phosphate PO4 levels in your aquarium water.
Highly effective granules coated PO4 Minus Media removes Phosphates and organic pollutants.
3) Ammonia Reduction Filter Sponge (HL02-3)
This chemical filtration media is perfect for your tank if you are aim is to reduce the ammonia levels in your aquarium water.
These sponges are designed to remove toxic Ammonia - the number one killer of aquarium fish from new or established aquariums.
4) Nitrite & Nitrate NO2 / NO3 Reduction Filter Sponge (HL02-4)
This chemical filtration media is perfect for your tank if you are aim is to reduce the nitrate NO3 / nitrite NO2 levels in your aquarium water.
These sponges are designed to remove unwanted dissolved waste in your aquarium, aiding in the reduction of nitrate NO3 / nitrite NO2.
Features
Suitable for fresh and salt water aquariums. Suitable for wet / dry, trickle, external cannister, internal, hang on and pond filters. Before use: rinse filter media through until the water runs clear. Dimensions: 32 x 12.5 x 1.2cm
Directions: Cut to size and replace every 2-3 months.
