      How does livestock shipping work?

      Door-to-Door Livestock Shipping
      Livestock shipping is 1–3 days to main city centres.
      Main city centres:
      Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban, George, Mossel Bay, Jeffreys Bay, East London, Plettenberg Bay
      Outer-lying areas: Arrival time cannot be guaranteed and is sent at your own risk.
      Dispatch days: Fish orders are sent between Monday and Wednesday(not on public holidays), depending on destination. If an order cannot go out that week due to timing or packing volume, it will be sent the following week.
      Excessive volumes will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis.

      Airfreight
      R495 per box (select at checkout). Livestock only — no dry stock.
      A 100% credit will be passed on DOAs.
      Airfreight destinations: Johannesburg, Durban, Cape Town, George, East London.
      Once booked, we will send the flight details and waybill number. Collect the box from the airport with your ID or driver’s licence.If you want more than 1 box, contact us first before ordering.

      How do you ship frozen foods?

      Our frozens foods are packed with dry ice packs that can last for up to 48-52 hours. When ordering frozen foods please add dry ice box to cart. We only ship out frozen foods on a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday

      What's your policy on DOAS?

      Live Arrival Guarantee (DOA Policy)We offer a 48-hour Live Arrival Guarantee for all livestock, effective from the time of courier pickup. If any livestock arrives deceased (Dead on Arrival - DOA), you must submit a clear photo of the affected item still sealed in its original packaging within 1 hour of delivery or pickup. Refunds or credits will be issued solely for the value of the livestock; shipping fees are non-refundable.

      What does "Available to Order" mean?

      This item is not currently held in store. It can be ordered for delivery within 5–7 working days. Please confirm availability before placing your order.

      What happens if I order a product and it out of stock?

      If an item you have ordered is out of stock, we will contact you asap to see if you would like us to substitute the item with an alternative product or provide feedback when the item will be available.

      Do I need a permit for a reptile?

      Yes. Before any reptiles can be released we first need to apply for a transport permit which can take anywhere from two days to two weeks. Once we have received the permit we will then arrange courier. It is your responsibility as the buyer to apply for a captivity permit.
