All our fish, shrimp and corals are bagged with fresh oxygen as well as a heat pack in winter.
When ordering livestock please select the box size and add it to your cart for accurate overnight (1-2 days) shipping costs. A small box can take 1-2 bags and a medium box 6 bags. One bag fits max 10 small (1-3cm) fish or max 2 medium (3-5cm) fish or max 1 large (>5cm) fish.

Body: Small and elongated with a laterally compressed shape.

Color: Males have a shimmering, iridescent coloration that can range from blue-green to silver with hints of gold. Females are generally less vibrant, with a more subdued coloration.

Size: Typically grows to about 1.5-2 inches (4-5 cm) in length.

Distinctive Feature: The sparkling effect on the body scales, particularly evident in males, gives this gourami its name. They also have distinctive long pectoral fins.

Activity: Generally peaceful and calm. They are slow-moving and spend most of their time in the middle to upper levels of the tank.

Social Structure: Best kept in small groups. Males may exhibit territorial behavior but are generally non-aggressive towards each other if kept in a well-planted tank.
