ECO-HEART is an oral homeopathic medicine for use as a heart tonic in animals. It can be used in any situations were improved heart function is required including:
- In older, aging animals which show weakness, easy exhaustion and physical fatigue
- To prepare for and promote recovery from anaesthesia or surgery.
- To protect and improve heart function during times of hard work or exercise, such as during training, endurance events or racing.
- As a supportive aid in animals with cough or chronic lung conditions such as emphysema

Frequency of dose
The normal dose is 2 – 3 times daily.
Give the prescribed dose of the medicine at least 10 minutes away from food or other remedies or supplements. If you are using more than one Eco-Vet medicine at a time, please give the medicines 10 minutes apart for maximum efficacy.
Preparation of medicine and directions for administration
ECO-HEART is prepared in 20% ethanol and should therefore be diluted before giving it to your animal.
While water is the best medium for administration, if your pet does not tolerate the water, you can substitute milk. As a last resort, you can give it on a little treat, but this may delay or impact the efficacy of the medicine.
When you are able to administer the medicine directly into your pet’s mouth, dilute the medicine in clean water and allow it to stand for a few minutes to allow the alcohol to evapourate. You can then administer the recommended dose of the diluted medicine directly into the mouth using a clean dry plastic spoon or syringe.
Alternatively you can add the recommended dose of the medicine to the animal’s drinking water, stir with a plastic spoon and leave to stand for a few minutes to allow any alcohol to evapourate before giving it to your pet. Be sure to make up fresh drinking water at least once a day or whenever the water is soiled or dirty.

Please consult your veterinarian if symptoms are severe or persist for longer than three days without improvement.
There are no known side effects. If your pet’s condition starts to deteriorate, please consult your veterinarian.
Giving an overdose or too much medicine is unlikely with a homeopathic medicine because it contains such minute doses of material substance. The only problem is if the medicine is not diluted correctly and the animal consumes too much alcohol, in which case you should consult your veterinarian.
