Blue Diamond Shrimp are a stunning freshwater dwarf shrimp variety renowned for their rich, deep sapphire-blue to cobalt coloration. High-quality specimens display an almost solid blue body with excellent colour coverage, making them a standout addition to planted and aquascaped aquariums.

Diet
Blue Diamond Shrimp are omnivores and should be fed a varied diet including:
- High-quality shrimp pellets
- Algae wafers
- Blanched vegetables (spinach, zucchini, cucumber)
- Indian Almond Leaves
- Occasional protein-rich foods
They also spend the day grazing on algae and biofilm naturally found throughout the aquarium.
Temperament

Breeding
Blue Diamond Shrimp breed readily in freshwater aquariums when kept in stable conditions. Females carry 20–40 eggs beneath their abdomen for approximately 3–4 weeks before releasing fully formed miniature shrimp. Selective breeding helps maintain the deep blue colouration within the colony.
