Important Permit Information

Certain provinces in South Africa require permits for the keeping and transportation of reptiles, with the Eastern Cape being one such province.

Permit approval processes may take up to one month, depending on the relevant authority. The reptile will remain in our care until the permit has been approved. 

We will issue the necessary transport permit from the store’s name to the buyer’s name for the lawful transfer of the animal. Thereafter, it remains the buyer’s responsibility to apply for and obtain any required captivity permits in accordance with their provincial regulations.

Please ensure you are familiar with your local provincial legislation before purchasing, as permit requirements may differ between regions.

For reptiles requiring transport, customers must select the appropriate livestock packaging option at checkout to ensure safe transit.

We offer overnight courier shipping, with delivery typically taking up to 48 hours depending on destination and courier routing.

• Appropriate enclosure setup, heating, UVB lighting (where required), and correct nutrition are essential for long-term health.
• Livestock availability may vary.
• We make every effort to upload photographs of the exact animal available for sale wherever possible.
• Juvenile reptiles, particularly species such as Leopard Geckos, may display significantly different colours and patterns compared to their adult appearance.
• Please note that image appearance may vary slightly due to lighting conditions, camera settings, natural colour variation, and the animal’s current mood or stress levels.
