Rotala wallichii is a stunning fine-leaved stem plant known for its delicate, needle-like foliage and vibrant pink to reddish coloration under strong lighting. It is a favorite among aquascapers for creating contrast and softness in the midground or background of planted aquariums.
This species thrives in high-tech setups with CO₂ injection, strong lighting, and regular nutrient dosing. When conditions are optimal, the plant develops dense, bushy tops with intense coloration, making it a show-stopper in any aquascape.
