Tank Setup:
Golden Apple Snails thrive in well-maintained tanks with plenty of surfaces to explore. They need access to calcium to maintain healthy shell growth, so supplement with cuttlebone or calcium-rich foods if needed. A secure lid is recommended as they can climb out of the tank.
Compatibility:
Safe with peaceful fish and shrimp. Avoid housing them with aggressive fish like puffers or cichlids that may nip at their antennae or shell.
Note:
These snails can reproduce in freshwater. Keep only one or control humidity above the waterline to avoid breeding if not desired.

Apple Snails have both gills and lungs and will often rise to the surface for a breath of air!
