Catnip is a known as Nepeta cataria and is part of the mint family.
The herb targets “happy” receptors in your cats brain which in turn can make your cat mellow, rolling around, jumping up and down, rubbing itself all over the carpets or furniture.
Catnip can be used weekly but remember that young cats might not be sensitive to it.
The shaker is designed to allow a shake of catnip out at a time.
