⚠️ Tank Size Requirements (Very Important)

Even as juveniles, fancy goldfish need plenty of space:

• ✅ Minimum: 60 litres per goldfish
• ⭐ Ideal: 80–100 litres per goldfish
• ❌ Bowls or small tanks are not suitable

👉 Example:

• 5 juveniles (35–65 mm) = minimum 300L (ideally 400–500L)

Proper volume ensures healthy growth, swimming, and water quality.

Tank Requirements

• Temperature: 18–24°C
• pH: 6.5–7.5
• Filtration: Strong (heavy waste producers)
• Setup:
  • Smooth substrate or bare bottom
  • Open swimming space
  • Minimal décor to prevent injury to delicate fins or eyes

Diet

Omnivorous:

• High-quality sinking goldfish pellets
• Gel foods for digestive health
• Blanched vegetables (peas, spinach)
• Occasional protein treats

Tank Mates

• Best kept with other fancy goldfish of similar size
