Product Description
Leptastrea Coral (Leptastrea spp.) is a beautiful and hardy Large Polyp Stony (LPS) coral known for its vibrant colours, intricate patterns, and unique encrusting growth.
Available in stunning shades of green, orange, yellow, purple, and blue, Leptastrea features closely packed, star-shaped polyps that create a textured, colourful appearance. As it grows, this coral gradually spreads across surrounding rockwork, forming an eye-catching living carpet.
Leptastrea is an excellent choice for both beginner and experienced reef keepers. Its relatively undemanding care requirements, adaptability to lower lighting, and attractive colouration make it a fantastic addition to established reef aquariums.

Feeding & Placement
Leptastrea obtains most of its nutritional requirements through photosynthesis. However, occasional feeding with fine coral foods, such as Reef-Roids, small zooplankton or finely chopped meaty foods, can encourage healthy growth and colouration.
Place the coral on stable rockwork where it receives gentle to moderate indirect flow. Avoid strong, direct currents and sudden exposure to intense lighting. Allow sufficient space between Leptastrea and neighbouring corals to prevent possible stinging or competition as it spreads.
Important: Leptastrea thrives in stable, established reef aquariums. Consistent water parameters, moderate nutrient availability, and gradual light acclimation are key to maintaining vibrant colours and healthy growth.
