Mammillaria hahniana Cactus M5

The Mammillaria hahniana, also known as the Old Lady Cactus, is a charming round cactus covered in a soft halo of white hairs and spines, often crowned with a ring of tiny pink flowers in spring and summer. Compact and resilient, it makes a delightful and easy-care addition to any collection.

Light: This cactus thrives in bright, direct light and will be happiest on a sunny windowsill or in a spot that receives several hours of sunlight each day. It can tolerate some light shade, but strong light encourages healthy growth and flowering.

Water: Allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings. During the growing season (spring and summer), water thoroughly but infrequently. In autumn and winter, when the plant rests, reduce watering drastically – once every few weeks or even less may be enough. Always ensure good drainage to prevent root rot.

Non-toxic, however, its spines can be sharp, so handle with care.
