In the early stages of development, kittens require nutrition that’s not just easy to eat, but delivers everything their developing minds and bodies need, while ensuring strong foundations for a healthy, happy adulthood. Scientifically formulated and nutrient-rich, Montego Karoo Kitten’s super-premium, limited ingredient recipe provides kittens of all breeds with an optimally balanced diet.
Benefits
Low Carbohydrate Formulation Using Only Rice
A single grain, high-quality, highly digestible carbohydrate provides all-day energy.
Energy-Sustaining Protein: Chicken
Chicken provides energy for all-day play, supports tissue repair and is a natural source of taurine, an amino acid critical to kittens.
Strength-Building Protein: Lamb
Adds delicious flavour and texture, while providing essential amino acids, crucial to the development and maintenance of strong, healthy muscles.
Balanced Microbiome from
Citrus Fibre & Beet Pulp
Natural, dietary citrus fibre and beet pulp nourish the gut, stimulating a balanced microbiome for the growth of beneficial bacteria in the digestive system.
Omega-6 & Omega-3 from
Animal Fats & Fish Oils
Omega-6 (chicken) and Omega-3 (fish oil) fatty acids nourish your kitten’s skin, regulating oil production and improving hydration; while encapsulated fatty acids are essential for reducing stool odour.
Cognitive Function: Salmon Oil
DHA, a crucial fatty acid found in a mother cat’s milk, is a key supplement for the brain which supports retinal development and boosts cognitive, memory and psychomotor functions.
Eye & Heart Health:
Chicken & Taurine
Taurine is an essential amino acid which helps support eye and heart health that all kittens require but cannot produce on their own.
Reinforced Natural Defences:
Freeze-Dried Melon Juice & Nutritional Yeast
Inactivated yeast balances the immune system, while freeze-dried melon juice and pulp protects cells from free radicals, supporting well-being and anti-ageing of the immune system.
HOW MUCH SHOULD YOU FEED YOUR KITTEN?
Depending on their age, kittens must be fed at the same time, in the same place, 2 – 4 times per day. Initially, you can soften your kitten’s food with a little warm water. Remove any uneaten food after 20 minutes. When switching your kitten to Karoo Kitten, do so gradually, by decreasing your existing brand and increasing the amount of Karoo Kitten.
ENSURE FRESH WATER IS AVAILABLE FOR YOUR KITTEN AT ALL TIMES
