All our fish, shrimp and corals are bagged with fresh oxygen as well as a heat pack in winter.

When ordering livestock please select the box size and add it to your cart for accurate overnight (1-2 days) shipping costs. A small box can take 1-2 bags and a medium box 6 bags. One bag fits max 10 small (1-3cm) fish or max 2 medium (3-5cm) fish or max 1 large (>5cm) fish.

Tank Requirements

• Tank Size: 10 gallons minimum (20+ gallons preferred for groups)

• Water Parameters:

  • Temperature: 72–79°F (22–26°C)

  • pH: 6.5–7.5

  • Hardness: Soft to moderately hard

• Substrate: Sand or fine gravel

• Plants & Decor: Live plants, caves, driftwood for hiding

Behavior & Compatibility

• Peaceful and shy

• Can be kept in pairs or small groups (1 male per 2–3 females is ideal)

• Compatible with other small, non-aggressive species

Diet

• Omnivorous

• Accepts high-quality flakes, pellets, frozen, and live foods

• Loves brine shrimp, bloodworms, and daphnia

Breeding

• Cave spawners

• Male guards the eggs until they hatch (~7–10 days)

• Fry can be fed infusoria, then baby brine shrimp
