Description

The Rainbow Bubble Tip Anemone is one of the most spectacular marine invertebrates available to reef aquariums. Renowned for its vibrant blend of green, orange, red, pink, and yellow coloration, each specimen displays a unique "rainbow" pattern that becomes even more intense under quality reef lighting.

Tank Requirements

• Minimum Tank Size: 120 litres
• A mature, stable reef aquarium (at least 6 months old is recommended).
• Moderate to high LED lighting.
• Moderate, indirect water flow.
• Plenty of secure rockwork where the foot can attach deep into a crevice.
• Avoid unstable water parameters and protect powerhead intakes, as anemones may move until they find a suitable location.

Diet

Although much of their energy comes from their symbiotic zooxanthellae algae, Rainbow Bubble Tip Anemones benefit from occasional feeding with:

• Mysis shrimp
• Chopped prawns or shrimp
• Krill
• Marine fish or clam pieces

Feed once every 1–2 weeks for optimal growth and colour.

Temperament

• Peaceful but can sting nearby corals.
• Allow adequate space between the anemone and other sessile invertebrates.
