🌈 Description
The Paskai Rainbow is a brilliantly colored nano fish prized for its vibrant red-to-orange body with an electric blue iridescence running along the upper half. Males tend to be more vividly colored than females and display their full hues when kept in small groups. Due to their small size and peaceful nature, they are ideal for planted community tanks or nano aquariums.
🧼 Care Guide
-
Tank Setup: Provide plenty of swimming space, fine-leaved plants, and low-flow filtration. A darker substrate will enhance their colors.
-
Schooling Behavior: Keep in groups of 6 or more to reduce stress and encourage natural behavior.
-
Feeding: Offer a varied diet of high-quality micro pellets, crushed flakes, and live/frozen foods like brine shrimp or daphnia.
-
Water Quality: Maintain stable water parameters with regular water changes; they are sensitive to poor water quality.
-
Breeding: Egg scatterers; can breed in well-planted tanks. Condition with live foods for spawning.
