The G2 Reefers come with new and improved water management, extra-fortified cabinets & aquariums, a REEF-SPEC ReefMat® ready sump, extended warranty plans, and are available in a huge variety of sizes, to fit any space.
REEFER G2 systems are the ideal platform for the full “Red Sea Experience”, combining our LED lighting, wave pumps, dosers, and filtration devices into one smart eco-system operated via the ReefBeat App, and rooted in our 30 years of research on the needs of corals in artificial environments. In keeping with the REEFER concept, these systems still allow you complete freedom of choice to customize the tank with all your preferred equipment.
The G2 Plus now comes equipped with Red Sea's new Red Sea Reef ATO+ Upgrade Kit! - The ReefATO+ is an exceptionally reliable auto top-off system that includes a highly accurate temperature monitor plus an external leak detector and is supplied with a smart controller and useful ReefBeat features. It has a unique solid-state level sensor, with five titanium probes that can pinpoint if you are above, below, or at the desired water level, along with backup OFF sensors, a fail-safe mechanism that stops the pump if it is operating for too long, and of course ReefBeat notifications if anything is out of the ordinary.

Rimless ultra-clear glass
REEFER G2 aquariums are rimless, and constructed from ultra-clear, beveled-edge glass with increased thickness of up to 19 mm or 0.75”.
Extra fortified plywood cabinet
The marine-spec laminated cabinets follow the contour of the glass, and are now all fortified and made of plywood. The “floating tank” feature is now reinforced with front aluminum supports on all REEFER 625 G2 models and bigger.
Dual return pump outlets
All REEFER 350 G2 models and bigger now have dual side-facing return pump outlets, creating an even better water distribution.
Surface skimmer
The piping is hidden inside a large central overflow box, which has a large surface skimmer with removable comb parts, for easy cleaning.
Silent downflow system
The enlarged rectangular inlet to the downflow pipe reduces turbulence, making it easier to regulate.
Assembly-ready piping
All pipes are preformed with quick connectors at all joints (no gluing required). Extra bulkhead connectors are available in both Metric and USA sizes for those that want to customize their sump piping.
High precision valve
All models now have a new and improved high precision valve on the downflow pipe, allowing for easy regulation of the flow and a near silent operation.
Professional REEF-SPEC sump
The professional sump includes a mechanical filtration media compartment (with micron filters & filter cups), which is easily removable, an optional refugium compartment, an adjustable height skimmer chamber for optimal skimmer performance, and a bubble trap to prevent air bubbles from returning to the aquarium.

The REEFER-S systems include all the features of the G2+ series, as well as deeper and wider dimensions, an elegant jet-black internal frame and a robust aluminum super-structure.
19mm ultra-clear glass
The 19mm low-iron glass provides a superior clarity, showing the true colors of your reef inhabitants.
Fortified internal framed aquarium
REEFER-S aquariums sport an elegant jet-black internal frame, which fortifies the 19mm thick ultra-clear glass.
Dual pump returns
The dual side-facing return pump outlets create an optimal flow in the aquarium. The outlets can be attached to a single or dual pumps.
Surface skimmer
The central overflow box is has a large surface skimmer, with removable comb parts for periodic cleaning.
Silent downflow system
The regulated silent downflow system comes with an improved, high precision valve for finer flow adjustments, as well as an emergency downflow bypass pipe, with unrestricted flow to the sump.
Aluminum marine spec cabinet
The marine-spec cabinet has a replaceable exterior, attached to a superior and robust aluminum super structure.
Assembly-ready piping
No gluing required! All pipes are preformed with quick connectors at all joins. Bulkhead connectors suitable for both Metric and USA standard pipes can be purchased separately, allowing you to customize your sump piping.
High precision valve
Silent downflow system with a new high precision valve, enabling finer flow adjustments.
ReefATO+
All REEFER G2+ models come with the state-of-the-art ReefATO+, which keeps your water volume and salinity stable, and includes an accurate temperature monitor as well as a highly sensitive leak detector. *Reservoir not included.

Professional main sump
The main sump is refugium-ready, containing all the filtration functions, and has an adjustable height skimmer chamber, enabling you to set the water level between 20-28cm (7.9”-11”) for optimal skimmer performance.
Extension sump (850 and 1000 models)
The extension sump can be used for a dedicated frag tank, a larger refugium, or simply for extra filtration. Alternatively, the extension sump can be disconnected from main sump, and used as an R/O reservoir or for saltwater changes.
Chiller & hardware chamber
All REEFER-S models come with a separate chamber for a chiller, controllers or other equipment.
Slide-out control panel
Provides easy mounting and access for controllers and other equipment. *Actual color of cabinet interior is black.
Hidden adjustable feet
The adjustable feet allow perfect levelling on any surface, and are hidden by the cabinet exterior for a more elegant look.
