Blue Velvet Shrimp are a beautiful freshwater dwarf shrimp variety admired for their soft sky-blue to powder-blue coloration. Their lighter, velvety blue appearance provides a striking contrast against dark substrates and vibrant green plants, making them a favourite among aquascaping enthusiasts.
Hardy, peaceful, and easy to care for, Blue Velvet Shrimp are ideal for both beginner and experienced shrimp keepers. They are constantly grazing on algae, biofilm, and leftover food, making them both attractive and beneficial additions to planted aquariums.
