Description:
The Ornate Tetra is a graceful, medium-sized community fish known for its translucent body, subtle red tones, and distinct white tips on the dorsal, anal, and caudal fins. Their delicate appearance and calm nature make them a popular choice for planted aquariums. When kept in schools, they display striking fin movements and an elegant presence.

Diet: Omnivore – accepts flakes, micro-pellets, frozen and live foods such as brine shrimp and daphnia.

• Environment: Heavily planted aquariums with open swimming space and gentle filtration.

Compatibility:
Best kept in groups of 6 or more. Peaceful tankmates include other small tetras, rasboras, dwarf cichlids, Corydoras catfish, and small plecos. Avoid larger or aggressive fish that may nip their fins.
