Torch Coral

The Torch Coral (Euphyllia glabrescens) is one of the most striking and sought-after LPS corals, famous for its long, flowing tentacles and brightly coloured tips. Its dramatic movement creates an eye-catching display as the tentacles sway gently in the current, making Torch Coral an excellent feature piece in a reef aquarium.

Torch Corals are available in a wide variety of colour combinations, including green, gold, yellow, purple and contrasting tip colours. With stable water conditions and suitable placement, they can develop into impressive multi-headed colonies.

Important: Torch Corals can extend long sweeper tentacles and have a strong sting. Give them generous space from neighbouring corals. Avoid harsh, direct flow that causes the tentacles to whip violently against the skeleton.
